Dr Gregg Fields - Florida Atlantic University, Florida, USA

Dr Gregg Fields, speaks to ecancer at the Best of ASCO®️ 2024 Miami Symposium about trying to understand how cancer processes to the bone.

He discusses the process of bone re-modelling, cells called osteoclasts that remove bone, and cells called osteoblasts that fill in bone. Cancer cells high-jack osteoclasts, creating holes for the cancer to pass through.

Dr Fields goes on to discuss his design on compounds that prevents this process.
