Dr Anne Merriman - Hospice Africa, Kampala, Uganda

Dr Merriman talks to ecancer at the National Cancer Institutes Directors' meeting in Lyon 17th May 2011 about the issues faced bringing cancer care to Uganda. Some funds come from USAID, though trying to resource cancer care is very difficult. The palliative care model developed in Uganda has been seen as a leading example to be exported to 15 initiatives in 8 other countries.
