Dr Adrian Rhudd - Mount St. John’s Medical Centre, Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda

Dr Adrian Rhudd talks about his article published in ecancermedicalscience, which describes the current state of prostate cancer in Antigua and Barbuda.

Dr Rhudd starts by describing his aims and some background to the paper, explaining that because the men are predominantly of African descent the burden of prostate cancer is significant yet he discovered there was not much of a framework for managing prostate cancer in the country.

Dr Rhudd discusses what he hopes the paper will build towards and how he hopes that more researchers will do studies in populations where the incidence and burden of prostate cancer are higher. He closes by saying that he hopes this work is useful for other developing regions.
